Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive responses to our recent parent survey. We were so pleased to read about how many of you are proud to be members of Team Ipsley.

Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive responses to our recent parent survey. We were so pleased to read about how many of you are proud to be members of Team Ipsley: a community in which we aspire for all of our pupils to flourish, academically, spiritually and socially, so that all can go on to lead happy, healthy and meaningful lives.

 

  •  4 in 5 of you told us that Ipsley supports your child’s reading, personal development and mental health.
  • 4 in 5 of you told us that Ipsley ensures its pupils are well behaved.
  • 4 in 5 of you told us that Ipsley deals with concerns you have raised effectively.
  • 9 in 10 of you told us that Ipsley has high expectations of your child, and that your child does well at Ipsley.
  • 9 in 10 of you told us you feel your child is safe at Ipsley.
  • 9 in 10 of you told us you would recommend us to another parent.

 

You Said, We Did… 

As a school, we want to ensure we are always listening to our community around what we could do better and how we can continue to offer our families as much support as possible.

You told us… that you would like easier lines of communication with the school.

So we have… added the ‘report an absence or concern’ form to our mobile home page so that you can directly communicate your concerns with the relevant staff in school, without the need to email or call the office first.

You told us… that you would like more support with keeping your children safe online.

So we have… arranged for all children to bring home a guide to staying safe online, relaunched our #StaySafeSaturday series on Twitter and scheduled more assemblies and PSHE lessons around online safety.

You told us… that you would like more information around the support in place for pupils with additional needs.

So we have… made available to any parents copies of their child’s personal education plan, which details the support in place for their child. Please contact the school office if you would like to discuss this.

You told us… that you would like more support for worries around your child’s mental health and keeping children safe in the community.

So we have… set up our first community café, including our Wellbeing and Emotional Support Team, local clubs and activities for children, support with the cost of living, and much more. The first Winyates and Matchborough Community Café will take place in January, and we will be in touch with more information shortly.

Thank you to everybody who shared their thoughts and feelings with us through our survey. Throughout the year, we are always keen to hear your feedback on things we are doing well and things we could do better, so that all in our community can continue to work closely together and enable all to succeed.
