We are proud to be a member of the RSA family of schools, working in partnership with the Church of England and the Redditch RSA Academies Trust. Our close relationship with RSA Arrow Vale combines resources across both schools and therefore enriches the day to day experience within the classroom and beyond for all our pupils.
As a Church of England school, we are proud of the way we support each child’s spiritual and moral development through assemblies, tutor time, R.E. and PSHE lessons, as well as the wider school curriculum. We believe that each child’s learning experience at Ipsley should be much broader than a strong academic foundation: they should leave us ready to face the world and their responsibilities to others. This is especially evident in our work with the local community and church.
Since academy conversion the school has achieved excellent Year 6 outcomes, reaching national standards. This is an example of how the combined knowledge and expertise drawn from the family of RSA Academies can impact swiftly on the educational outcomes of our pupils. We have been praised by Ofsted for our impressive progress and exemplary standards, as well as the way we care for pupils.
We guarantee that when children join our school, they will be joining a purposeful, orderly and happy learning environment. Our expectations are high but simple:
- attend school every day and arrive punctually
- work to the best of their ability in and beyond lessons
- treat others respectfully in lessons, at social time and in the local community
- represent Ipsley well, in both their uniform and their behaviour
- support the core Christian values of the school
In return we will provide a safe and stimulating environment, with high quality teaching and learning, and a genuine care in the personal development of each child as an individual.
I hope that this website provides you with a more detailed insight into life at Ipsley. If you require any further information, or want to come and see us in action, please do not hesitate to contact us.
